Community of Christ Canada is proud to announce the launch of its new website.

Visitors will enjoy a more modern experience, including mobile-friendly functionality. A special effort has been made to simplify the website, ensuring that users can locate information quickly and efficiently. In addition, content has been added to accommodate seekers from various backgrounds.

Canadian church leadership and membership are indebted to the efforts of Lew Shepherdson, whose hard work made this new website a reality. A great deal of time and talent were required to build this new expression of Christ’s mission, and the Church certainly appreciates his volunteerism and dedication.

New Registration system for all Mission Centre activities

We are in the process of converting to a new online registration system! The current system is no longer available. Please hold off submitting online registrations for summer camps and retreats until you see the specific camping and retreat events being advertised. Our new system will enable you to enter basic information once, and with a simple click (or two) register for your event.

Weekend of World Religions Vancouver

Although the 20-40 centimetres of snow we received in the lower mainland threw a wrinkle in our Friday night, we enjoyed four great visits Saturday and Sunday.

And Hindu below. 

The meal we were served at the Hindu Temple was fabulous.  I’ll be having dreams about the bread and the lentil curry for a month!

Nurturing Spirit Retreat Samish Island

and Youth Spirit Retreat

The youth prepared food, served food and enjoyed their own Youth Spirit classes.

   

This year we had a total of 60 participants and staff at the Nurturing Spirit Retreat.

For several, it was their first visit to Samish Island Campground.
