Upcoming eLearning Classes:
Registration for enrollment begins March 18 for Canadians (first-come, first-served) for these online classes:
· Introduction to Scripture (SS400) - Required for new ordinands and those exploring scripture study. Class dates: April 20-June 14 (limit 30).
· Ministry of the Teacher (MP 303) - Required for new Teachers and those exploring Teachers ministry. Class dates: April 20-May 31 (limit 10)
· Ministry with Latter-day Seekers (DS6377) - Introduces Community of Christ members to ministry with Latter-day Seekers. An experienced Latter-day Seeker minister will guide participants (Seventy Karin Peter). Dates April 20-May 10 (limit 25)
· Children and Youth Core Training (0106) - Students work through the training necessary to prepare for registration (note: C&YW Registration is not complete until training, application, and approval as required). Dates: April 7 - July 15 (class takes about a week and can be completed anytime between these dates).
Enrollment begins one-week early to all Canadians (March 18).

In response to suggestions and frequently asked questions from Community of Christ members and leaders, the Office of General Counsel has added copyright information about streaming or podcasting worship services, using online content, posting online, and the use of YouTube videos in church.
Expanded information about copyright exemptions, licenses, and permissions is included in the online update. The subject of trademarks is covered, including specifics about the use of Community of Christ trademarks.
Congregations and mission centers are encouraged to review this information. Copyright questions also can be answered by email.
Thank you to all members, priesthood, and leaders for your continued efforts to remain compliant with copyright and trademark law, and ensure any copyrighted material is used responsibly in your congregation and mission center worship services, online presence, resources, and other ministries.
Please remember that, even when living exciting expressions of our faith and mission, we have a legal and a moral obligation to respect the rights of those who have created copyrighted materials.

Sam Smalldon, our Canada West Mission Financial Officer, has asked that we all remember when submitting receipts or donations to include:
Your full name, no initials please (there are 3 - D.Donohue’s in my family)
Your complete address
What the reciept was for (camp, retreat or other)
Or
What the donation is for (specify which camp or event please)
This will be very helpful to Sam.
