The ‘God Loves Everyone’ Day Retreat
…with Apostle Art Smith was a huge success.
32 people gathered at the Chilliwack church to participate in fellowship, learning, and laughter.
Special thanks to Art Smith for making this a memorable day for us.

We’re very pleased to tell you that Laura Fish will be our head cook at the Nurturing Spirit Retreat this year. Laura has been cooking at Samish for years and is a wonderful cook. Be prepared for deliciousness.
Community of Christ is moving to a new platform for registrations called ‘Reggie’. While we wait for ‘Reggie’ to get up and running, feel free to email me to register. Remember to list any food allergies or special needs you may have. Registration closes February 21st, please register today.
We still have a few E-cabins available! The E-Cabins (with washrooms) are always sought after. They will be given first of all to those with a health need, next to those willing to share and finally to those who register first and request to be in an E-Cabin. You can also request to be on your own or with a friend in a Rustic cabin and utilize the main shared washrooms. Please specify your preferences and needs.
Our theme is ‘The Life-giving Power of Water’. In the attachments you’ll find our flyer and schedule as well as information about our ‘Nurturing Youth Spirit Retreat’ which is open to children 10 and up who are staying with an adult. Lana and Debra are very excited to be with the youth once again this year, and we’ll have the youth schedule available very soon.

World Conference April 6-13, 2019
If you would like to be a Canada West Mission delegate, please register with Debra by January 31, 2019 so we can get the early bird rate.
We currently have room for 14 more delegates and 33 alternates.
Earlybird delegates, please do NOT register on your own. Debra will contact you for confirmation of your attendance and register all delegates as a group.
2019 World Conference Delegate Registration Fees
to be Reimbursed by Mission Centre!
This is for the information of any member considering being a delegate from the Canada West Centre to the 2019 World Conference, scheduled for April 5 to 13, 2019.
This will be a special conference. Besides the usual business of the church, there will be special celebrations in honour of the 25th anniversary of the dedication of the Community of Christ Temple in Independence, Missouri.
Undertaking the responsibility of being a delegate to World Conference includes a significant financial commitment. Although a small portion of total expenses, the Canada West Mission Centre is pleased to be able to provide this assistance.
Please consider your availability to serve as a World Conference Delegate. Any confirmed member in good standing is eligible. There is no age requirement and no priesthood requirement. Advise Debra Donohue debra@communityofchrist.ca of your interest as soon as possible
